I have heard of swapping out services and trading furniture etc. but I didn't really know about this website, Freesharing.org until I started searching "free" on the Internet. I am someone who always preferred giving away our usable treasures as apposed to selling them. It gives me great joy and warms my heart to know an item I once treasured is offering happiness to someone else.

I encourage my teenagers to do the same. We recycle a lot of their clothes and games to friends and family. I try to balance my in flow by offsetting it with outflow. In with the new, out with the old!

Are you sharing with the world? Leave me a note about your generosity, I would love to read about it!

Tonight's article is really about the magic of you. You encompass the ability to be successful. You were born with all of the tools to become your best self and to make the world a better place as you grow. If you believe in yourself, you can accomplish everything you put your mind to and more. Yes, metaphorically, you can even move mountains. If you do not agree with me, you have work to do but with perseverance, you will gain this necessary confidence.

Your life is a miracle in itself. You came into this world pure and authentic. Perhaps you've been tainted by the challenges in your world; intimidated by bullies. But, you can come through the hardship and embrace your livelihood, believe in your abilities. As you harness this sensation, it will fill your heart and manifest greatness, reflective of you.

You are in the driver's seat and you can turn your life around if it isn't working out currently. Don't ever give up!

Do you believe this is the key to success? Leave me a comment with your thoughts!

Gabe Vaccaro is my boyfriend’s great grandpa. He is a resilient man at the ripe age of 90 years old. He is active and he loves his life! He enjoys talking about his years in the military, he lights up when he is asked about it.

It is interesting that he didn’t want to join the military originally. He volunteered before the draft was implemented but, in the end, he loved his time in the navy.

I haven’t talked to anyone who regrets joining and I’ve talked to many veterans while volunteering at the VA hospital. These soldiers really do share a code of honor; they are true heroes!

Are you doing anything to help our country? Drop a comment and share your story, I would love to read it!

Stimuli projects energy, continued...

I was inspired to create tonight's article by the first 100 pages of the book I'm reading, Infinite Quest, by John Edwards. My sister purchased the book and then passed it to me after she finished soaking in his bestowed wisdom. Regardless if you believe in John's psychic ability or not, so far the book is more about becoming in tune with what is impacting you. External stimuli and its affect. He is communicating how to become more positive (by coming from a place of love) and, in turn, create karma that manifests the future you dream of (less the material stuff). John promotes coming from a place of love. Pretty good advice, if you ask me.

I'm a fan but, I must admit, the book is coming from a perspective that I didn't anticipate from him. I've been enlightened thus far and I'm anxious to jump back into the next 100 pages. I'm hopeful you will consider the message and limit your interface with negative stimuli; offset it through positive influences. It is sound advice!

What are your thoughts? Leave me a comment.

How much stuff is too much, continued...

It amazes me how I have changed from my childhood. I used to be this cluttered and messy child. Today, I work to continually organize my stuff and my life. It is important that I maintain the old rule of thumb, in with the new and out with the old. It is a cycle I implement for my kids birthdays and Christmas also. There are 6 of us living in my home that used to house 3. I have no choice but to continue this practice, otherwise, we wouldn't have room to grow or live. I do have sentimental belongings but not a lot. I honor my cherished belongings. I also share the sentiment with others.

I believe your belongings reflect your mental state. If you're overwhelmed with stuff, your mind isn't functioning to its fullest potential. De-clutter physically and you'll see you're mind will start to follow. Although, you must acknowledge that it is more than stuff and it is linked to your psyche to see improvement.

I'm curious about your thoughts on hoarding, drop me a note.

The thought about this weight loss game plan came to me while in the shower today. I'm, of course, a bit biased. I feel it is brilliant, an idea from above! I believe I may have found the "missing" piece of my weight loss puzzle. This new way of thinking will make my heavy fears tangible so I can over power them as I empower myself with each work out. As long as I work hard and tackle one stress at at time, I think I'll be finally shedding the weight.

Tomorrow my challenge will begin. Stay tuned to find out which bullying fear is first on my list and the choice of work out I utilize to demolish it!

How are you tackling the weight challenge? Leave me a note to tell me about it.
