Jerian DiMattei, Victoria Ruvolo's Media Specialist, shared, “Vicky
was preoccupied with more than just physical recovery during the proceeding
months of the accident. She also had been pondering the emotional and spiritual
implications of what had happened to her. She began speaking to groups and
organizations about her experience and about forgiveness, and she co-wrote a
book about her journey with attorney, Robert Goldman, one of the many people
inspired by Victoria. The book entitled, No
Room For Vengeance, explores the rewards of forgiveness and tells the story
of Victoria's accident that greatly affected her life and many others.”
Victoria continued her interview.
She described her life today, “My life is
wonderful! I thank God everyday that I am here. I have my family around me
always, my Nephew, Niece, and my Great Niece live with me and we are always
going to Oceanside to see my Sisters.”
Her book’s message, “When you hold on to revenge the only person you are
hurting is you. I truly believe that if I held anger, I would still be in St.
Charles trying to get back to who I am. I want to help people have a better
life!”
