My thoughts about myself can be pretty brutal. My bar is too
high so when I make a mistake, look out. I not only think negatively, I
verbally call myself dumb for doing something wrong along with many other inappropriate
names.
I was intrigued about the Thought-stopping technique when I
read about it. It seems like it could work to me and, regardless, I believe it
is worth a shot. Next time I get into a negative mode, I’m going to pull out a
rubber band and test this process.
