Criticize or compliment, continued...

When I was younger I used to talk crap about and to others and I could have really cared less about myself. It was a time when I tried to fulfill from the outside in; this didn’t work. It is no wonder why I had so much drama in my life! I have learned a great deal about myself and about real support. I find the realization that the opposite of criticize is compliment, and this is pretty cool. As the article points out, I like how they both give back; it’s just a matter of picking good verses evil.

Today in my forties, I work hard to not to criticize, although, I do find myself comparing more than criticizing these days. Do you think this is more of a woman thing or a Kathy thing? I might say, “I wish I had that woman’s waistline!” And, if it is someone flaunting an unflattering body, I’ll say, “I admire that person’s confidence!”

I really do want to boost the spirit of the world, not bring it down. I’m leading the compliment parade. Which line are you in?

Leave me a note and let’s talk about it!

Your future, continued...

Yes, I am forever thinking about my future. So much so, I have to work hard to stay in the present moment at times. I love to go to a psychic about once a year to validate, for me, that I'm on track. This seems to be the case currently or at least a local psychic thinks so.

I drug my boyfriend to a reading this weekend and we had a very nice and validating hour session. Some of our deceased loved ones participated (yes, my father made an appearance) among many others we've lost from our physical world.

Her outlook for the both of us was good. She felt we were healthy, on track and gaining momentum to live a life of our dreams. This didn't surprise either one of us as we're focusing a lot of effort towards living authentically and by recognizing we need to help others as often as we can.

Unfortunately she didn't see any type of financial win for me in the stars but she did say we'll continue to make ends meet, be happy and have a flexible life together that enables balance. This is really priceless to me!

Energy bank, continued...

I am 100% confident that I encompass an energy bank. I just have to overcome the reluctance and challenge that exists in my brain in order to tap into my energy.

Every time I pull into the gym I think, “This really sucks!” Every time I pull away, I think, “I’m so happy I forced myself to workout. I feel so much better.” And, 9 times out of 10 I go home and I’m able to get a bunch more done as apposed to sinking into the couch for junk food and tv.

It amazes me how this core energy really does exist and enables action at will. I love that, regardless of physical feeling, I can put my mind to something and make it happen.

Are you an active person? How do you motivate yourself to exercise?

Are you a giver or taker, continued...

As I said in the article, the perfect balance is a mix between Give and Take. You don't want to disable someones growth by continually giving (of course we're not talking about children but adults) and you shouldn't take advantage of someone by continually taking. Where is the pride in these individuals? My focus in life is to reach out and give when and where I can. I love the feelings I get when I'm able to help someone. I grew up in a poor household and this instilled a drive in me to do better, an appreciation for even the smallest things and a connection with those struggling to just try to make ends meet. My reach fills a well in me that goes back to my childhood. I love being a giver but, at the same time, I'm pretty good at recognizing a "career taker" and therefore I'm careful to not encourage these types of individuals. They need an awakening through some honest and maybe a bit harsh (in your face) type of motivation!
