Individuals on different ends of the normalcy spectrum are not going to be in sync.

This really makes a lot of sense to me. Dan Sagert explained this is why many times, someone who comes from an abusive home, ends up in an abusive relationship and stays; although it is harmful this type of dysfunction is what makes him or her feel at home; at least this is how it feels in their heart. It is where they gauge his or her life as normal.

I grew up with an alcoholic father and, guess what I found in my first husband? Alcoholism surrounded by drama.

How do we break this pattern? By empowering ourselves with the know how to “relearn” and create a new pattern that moves our gauge of normalcy to a lower mark.

Pretty interesting stuff; what are your thoughts?
