My interview with Dr. Howard Samuels was extremely interesting to me. First, I must say, Dr. Howard has made his rounds through the media as he is sought after by mainstream shows such as Good Morning America, Today, CNN and many more and considering this, he took time from his schedule to talk to me, a small town reporter. I was excited and grateful to talk to Dr. Samuels.

If you are like most, me included, you are tired of hearing about Charlie Sheen. But, I was intrigued by the psychic shift and intense pain Dr. Howard discussed in his interview with Piers Morgan relevant to Charlie. This is why I questioned him further. My work in Life Healing Art focuses on the gift of light or silver lining that comes from hardship. I believe suffering pain teaches lessons if you're open to it or ready to accept it and move on to health.

Dr. Samuels deals with this darkness daily in his work. He shared, "There are moments also filled with cases that don’t work, I have hope for everybody. You have to put your seatbelt on to go on the ride, sometimes it takes years and makes your life worth living."

Can you share any painful experiences that taught you in the process of moving forward? Leave a comment.

At first, when I was presented with the challenge of "owning my expertise" I was taken back and struggled with the task. I thought, "How can I be pompous and make such a list?" But, then after thinking about if for awhile, it made me realize that there isn't anything wrong with owning our experience and knowledge. As a matter of fact, it is wrong not to share this earthly wisdom! I am a natural leader. Regardless of where I focus my attention, I gravitate to the top. I am a compassionate person with a big heart and because of this, I can read other people's state of mind really good. This is because I'm comfortable in my own skin and I'm in tune with my company. I am creative, intelligent and a top of the line artist (in most every media I've tried). I am inspirational and I'm a protector of those who surround me. I help people find their way to their best self and for this I am very proud!

Leave me a list of your areas of expertise, who knows, we might be able to help one another!

Andrew discussed his feeling about the loss of his best friend, Patrick, someone who understood his psyche or as Andrew put it, “He got me!”

Andrew is an extremely creative person. He shared the below poem he wrote about his friend.

Promise me Patrick:
12/16/1968 ~ unknown

Dear best friend and brother,
I will remember you for the rest of my life.
I knew you for 20 years.
I will love you for the rest of my life.
Today, The rest is silence.

Honoring Patrick J. Swenson 8/8/1969 ~ 8/1/1998

To: All who love & all who are loved by others: Promise me, please use seat belts!

I believe when you tap into your creativity especially when it is tied to loss, it is healing, very therapeutic. Andrew has written much about his beloved friend. He remembers him now through their memories and Patrick’s positive impact on his life. He was changed by their relationship and he cherishes this in a very healthy and inspiring way!

Have you suffered loss of a best friend? How are coping through the bereavement. Take a moment to share, open up to someone if you can.

Greatness, I believe, lives within each of us. It is in our reach because we already own it. Like anything living, it must be realized and nourished to embrace it fully. It isn't easy to uncover our full potential but we, each and every one of us, are equipped with the right tools to unlock this wonder!

Anyone who is held in the regard of greatness has worked hard and sacrificed to achieve their place. It is necessary to put in the time and work in order to appreciate your success once you've come to realize such achievement. It is never-ending and overflowing. When you get to your goal, more are created! It empowers you and inspires others through karmic energy that ripples through the universe. I'm part of this movement and I know you can be part of it too!

Awaken to this world of opportunity and tell me all about it!

The message I'm trying to convey in this article is that you have the power to retreat and renew without having to exert a lot of energy to escape your everyday stress. Some people meditate for hours a day but most of us do not have the luxury of excess time for this exercise. If you do, I'm sure you are feeling aligned and in tune with yourself and your world. I'm lucky to meditate an hour within a whole week. The longest my session might be, on a good day, is twenty minutes. In the article, I communicate that just a few seconds of going within is worthwhile and I truly believe this.

It is about shutting out all of the crazy stimuli and calming yourself down to mesh with the peace within. This is possible and changes everything within a moment of time.

Give it a shot and leave your feedback. I'm interested in your thoughts!

I have heard of swapping out services and trading furniture etc. but I didn't really know about this website, Freesharing.org until I started searching "free" on the Internet. I am someone who always preferred giving away our usable treasures as apposed to selling them. It gives me great joy and warms my heart to know an item I once treasured is offering happiness to someone else.

I encourage my teenagers to do the same. We recycle a lot of their clothes and games to friends and family. I try to balance my in flow by offsetting it with outflow. In with the new, out with the old!

Are you sharing with the world? Leave me a note about your generosity, I would love to read about it!
