I've realized over the past few years that the more calm I feel inside, the more the environment I'm in feels calm. I do believe that peace shines from within. Our environment mimics our thoughts, stance and action. And, I have figured out that when I'm not feeling peaceful inside, I can find my balance in reverse. If I step into nature, I can mimic the energy it gifts and gain peace within.

Many of my articles share this message. It is key to realize that you manifest the energy you put out and attract. Let go of the static in your life; let it go instead of feeding it!

I believe world peace is attainable and that world peace starts within each individual.

Share your thoughts about this, I would love to hear from you.

Gaining spiritual enlightenment is the ultimate high. If only all of the drug and alcoholics truly understood this, the world would be such a better and more loving place to live. If you understand that your energy connects to the greater good and this engages the universe, this thought alone makes the trivial stuff dissolve. This realization validates that you are never alone and that you really do matter. You have a place and a purpose in the universe. And, you can find the answer to all of this within.

It is pretty amazing stuff.

What are your thoughts about spiritual enlightenment? Enlighten me!

Inner peace is not about who has the biggest bank account or keeping up with your neighbors, it is about aligning yourself with your purpose; finding out what makes you happy. Sure we would all be happy winning the lottery, at least short term, but once the money runs out we would probably be even more miserable because now we're aware of what were missing!

It is essential to find out what makes you happy with the basics; life's simple pleasures. If you can do this, everything else is just icing on the cake. As your soul lifts and you feel fulfilled this energy alone will help manifest material pick me ups that are appreciated but not required.

I have found my inner peace through my creativity. It blesses me with tranquility and warmth and it truly lifts my spirit. I'm moving forward in life grateful for this feeling knowing my life is manifesting itself in new and fulfilling ways as long as I keep myself on track!

Denial is a refusal to acknowledge, continued...

Denial is a pretty powerful hindrance found in most of our everyday lives. If you are human, you have embraced this concept at some point. Hopefully, as you've matured into an adult, you were able to recognize it more quickly and put it in its place before it caused too much havoc in your world.

For me, it is very difficult to play a side-line role to this when a friend is actively numbing out reality. I'm someone who really doesn't hold back, and as you can imagine, this can be both good and bad. I'm somewhat polished and tactful so I try to make sure timing is in my favor when confronting a loved one with subtle education of reality. I'm sure I've lost friends in the past but, I'm also sure, they weren't true friends if we didn't have a relationship that was based on honesty. I believe core, sincere friendship can endure any trial and tribulation. And, I appreciate commentary from others about my life, when it comes from a loving place.

Today, I'm feeling better than ever with the blessings I have manifested in my life and I believe I'm on the right track. I just take baby steps, deep breaths and continue to push forward embracing reality. I took my glasses off in 2008 and it really is a beautiful and fulfilling picture outside of them.

Are you facing the truths of your life? Can you share them with me?
