For a class, I was tasked with reading the book, Naming the Elephant by James W. Sire. It is a book that gets the brain thinking about worldview.  In one particular part Sire’s words spun human “being” in relation to action as apposed to the label of human being. This inspired my article.

I tried to write it as a motivational piece to first educate about how the human brain differs from all other living beings and then to inspire you to live to the potential this article discusses.

I am in awe of the cognitive abilities we have. As I dig deeper into the psyche, I am more curious. I’m hopeful these pieces are interesting reading for my followers.

Wow, Bishop T.D. Jakes, hit a nerve with his sermon and I'm thankful I was able to receive it and pass it forward. I discovered him through Oprah's Supersoul Sunday serious on her OWN Channel.

I'll reiterate his message again in this post in case you've not read the article.

Bishop T.D Jakes said, “Until you can be thankful for something that is not enough, then what you have can not be multiplied into what is more than enough.” He was talking about the story of the little boy with 2 fish and five loaves of bread in the bible. When this meal was blessed and then the loaves were broken in order to serve many, the count multiplied. His message, “It is the breaking of life that produces the blessing of life.”

He went on to say that the most blessed people he had met, in his life, have been through something that has broken them.

We've all been broken and many of us are still there. I so believe in manifestation. It has worked in my life and continues to work for me. I'm currently manifesting my next book success. This book is derived from my pain. And, in its completion, I will push hard to get it published through a publisher. This will be a journey and, I'm sure, it will involve frustration. I am blessed even in my most dire moment. I know this and believe it whole-heartily!

I want you to believe this too because when you do, your world will open for you in ways you can't even begin to imagine. Take a leap of faith my friend. It is necessary for your well being. Stare your situation in its face, welcome it for a short visit, learn from it, appreciate its lesson and then live larger!

I connected with Caryn Fitzgerald through a report connection call out she posted for inspirational stories. She works daily to embrace positivity and to offer inspiration through her blog, website and life coaching focus. I believe our paths have overlapped with intention as our purpose is very similar. My focus is also to inspire and help others struggling with the demons of every day life.

In the short time we've interfaced, I have virtually felt the kindness of her heart. Her words are sincere and warm. She has triumphed through much hardship and because of her battles, she is a much more compassionate and wise person. I posted a picture with this article of an oil pastel drawing I did in the past. It is of a little boy running in his yard. To me, it feels full of life. I noted that bringing life to a blank sheet of paper is a miracle to me. I so believe this. It is a heavenly inspiration that comes into me and enables anything that resembles the actual photo to come to life. There is no way I could do this on my own! I feel like I go into this coma type state that blocks everything out when I'm working on a piece of art. It is very serene and peaceful for me! I get to participate in these heavenly drawings and writings on a daily basis, pretty cool, huh?
