My hidden talents include a snap, crackle and pop sound with my body, doodling that turned into my art career, yoyo tricks, string tricks and so on. We were poor growing up so we had to be creative in entertaining ourselves. I remember, at one point, my parents had an old tape player around and I used to record myself telling a story and then mouth the sounds as background noise. It would be a stormy night or I would make the sound of the crowd at the ball game etc. Sounds silly today but it really was a blast back then!

The article is about being silly and being able to let down your boundaries to share your goofy fun. It is really healing to laugh especially when you can laugh at yourself!

What kind of hidden talents do you possess? Can you leave me a note and share?

We went to support my boyfriend's mom today as she lost a dear loved one. Although we were late arriving, we offered emotional support during her time of need and we'll continue to do this over the weekend. Sharing the pain helps carry the weight of the burden. The article talks mostly about the connection we make when we share and how this connection fuels the sharing experience in general.

This may seem like the basics but a lot of time this is what we have to come back to for us to get our heads around things that are truly important again!

How are you sharing your life? Drop me a note and tell me about it!

As a struggling small business owner myself and as someone who has been through divorce, the challenges of a single parent, job loss and much, much more, I can sincerely relate to this man's story. I can also relate to the perseverance and the need to survive that this person encompasses. He is loyal to his family, his desire to do more than survive and a vision. Bravo to him and everyone who has braved the venture of small business. Many do not make it but with each loss, lessons are learned! And, to those who do, may you continue to inspire others to take the leap of faith!

Do you know anyone who has a story of inspiration? If so, make the connection so I can create the article!

I love photos of hands, especially those reflecting someone helping someone else. They really do touch me. I try to lend a supportive hand as much as possible. I reach out to strangers (some get annoyed, some appreciate it) and I hope, in my time of need, others would do the same.

I really do feel the reason I am so blessed is because I have a generous spirit. I care about the well-being of others. I want everyone to be happy and to succeed in whatever they are passionate about. This comes from my heart and it is what fuels my volunteer work, my support to my friends and family and my reach to strangers when I see someone who can use a helping hand.

How are you helping those around you? Leave me a comment and tell me about it!

Yes, I love to read and this inspired my article. Unfortunately, I don't make it a top priority but it does have a place in my life; articles on-line, Oprah's Magazine monthly & a good book when I can. I tend to lean towards self-help and artsy books. I love the holistic healing topics. I also love hokey-pokey stuff (psychic/super natural). I have quite a library on these topics!

If you relate to the above genres, leave me a list of great books you've read. I would love to look them up and check them out!

On my birthday, 7/1, I received a gifted package through the mail from Judith. She shared her book with me and I was ecstatic about its content.

Judy and I both suffered different loss and we chose different paths to cope through our grief but the connection we share is tied through creativity. We both healed through inspiration and life fueled by the creative spirit. We also both recognize God as the ultimate foundation of this spirit.

I'm grateful to have gotten to know Judy a bit and hopeful our bond with strengthen as we both work in the bereavement field. We need more people like Judy in this world!

Do you know anyone with a unique story of healing? If so, please make the connection. I would love to share their story!.

I hate to admit it because, but by sharing this tidbit of information, I’m showing some ignorance but I’m human, right! I turned 42 years old this past Friday. The thing is, I thought I turned 42 last year. You’re probably thinking, “Who forgets their own age as an adult?” Well, I do!

I’m serious. I really stopped counting after 40. Why? Because ageing doesn’t bother me. It is a low priority. So, ultimately, I get a “do-over” on my 42nd birthday year! I liked the first go around and I’m going to work to make this one even better☺ This do-over turned out to be pretty positive for me.

Can you share one of your do-over stories with me. Leave a comment.
