For Mother’s Day this year I spent the day previous in my yard with my 2 teenage sons mulching. I live in a rural area on just about an acre with lots of flowerbeds; I couldn’t have received a better gift. My kids helping me get the yard in shape was appreciated. What could have taken me a solid weekend to finish was completed in just a few short hours with my son’s help!

I’m proud of my boys. Yes, they have fooled around and pushed their limits but they are smart young men with the opportunity to create bright futures. I have and continue to give them my all but as they age, this "all" is being reshaped. I’m having to let go physically while I seem to hold tighter spiritually. It is quite a learning experience for me. I’m happy to be a mother; I can’t imagine my life without them. I feel extremely lucky!

I know a lot of people who have survived a lot of stuff but they do not live as if they know they are almost superhuman for the stuff they have already overcame in their lives. This is crazy to me. If you only knew, what we, on the outside can see, you would be more secure in your ability to persevere!

I believe first you overcome and then you must turn these obstacles into stepping stones in order to reach bigger and better things. This is the glory William Barclay is referring to in the quote I shared within the article.

We all know the words, “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.” It is important to own this strength. Why, because you are better for it!

I recently ordered and listened to a audiobook called, Many Masters, Many Lives by Dr. Brian Weiss.  Brian is a psychologist who discovers past life regression as he hypnotized a patient who gives him detail of lives she has lived from Before Christ (BC).  This was in the 1970's and since then Brian has specialized in Past Life Regression.  He communicates people are able to heal things like migraines and other illnesses (as this is residue left over from past lives) once they regress and realize these experiences; pretty amazing stuff!

The book gives a lot of food for thought.  I am actually going to hear this person speak in the fall of this year, and I’m excited about the trip.

Like I said in the article, reincarnation would explain these feelings of knowing someone before even though you have just met him or her.

This is how I felt when I met my fiancé.  If I’ve lived lives before this one, I am sure he was part of my world!

I am ever intrigued with spirituality, especially how it connects with meta-physics. I believe, so far, I have benefited the most from meditation. Had I discovered this therapeutic path while in my teens, I believe my health would have been much better by the time I had reached my forties. I’m grateful I can practice this now because, beside creativity, it is my best therapy for stress.

There is so much more to life than that which we can physically see. I believe people who are closed-minded are missing out on the fundamentals of humanity; spirituality and all of its glory.

At first thought, I didn’t really consider there to be a difference between instinct and intuition, I thought of them as synonymous to one another. After I considered each they really are unique. Wikipedia.com helped me to clarify. I believe these tools are both gifts from God.

Wikipedia explains the difference between the two, “For example, if you sense a big object suddenly approaching your head, the instinctive action is to duck and possibly raise you hand to protect yourself. This is all done in an instant. You didn't even have to think about it. The action was instinctive. Instinct refers to natural reaction or behaviour, such as a mother's instinct to care for her offspring, or an animal's instinct to migrate to warmer/colder climes or to habitual spawning places.

On the other hand, you may find that, somehow, you are able to perceive something that is not plainly evident, having some insight of mind that can see beyond the obvious, such as what may be troubling someone who seems disturbed. Intuition relates to thoughts and feelings you have about a matter, but which you cannot explain or justify by rational logic.”

I believe these thoughts are more manifested from our 6^th sense; they are celestial.
