Like many others, I do not believe in coincidences; I believe in synchronicity, which I’ve written about in the past. My interface with Mark Ireland has been timely in my spiritual evolution. My universal door became ajar after the loss of my father in 2008; this is when I really started sensing the sheer veil that separates the living from the dead. Like Mark Ireland, I utilized psychic mediums, became open to my own supernatural experiences, and took notice of my nighttime dreams to soothe my aching heart. My world transitioned, gifting new priorities, outlooks, and my own soul-work; my life transformed. In the aftermath of my father’s death, my creative spirit surfaced. I channeled healing words that I shared in my bereavement book, What Can I Say When Words Escape Me, being present in times of sorrow in 2009. This led me on a path that now includes a Master’s degree in Clinical Health Counseling, which I’ll obtain in 2 months. Analytically, I am not sure how the universe will fit the pieces together, and as I grow spiritually, I realize I do not have to worry about this. I am trusting and open to all that it entails. I am sure this path will enable me to better support others who need help finding their way through bereavement. Perhaps it is this vibration that connected me with Mark, however this celestial intervention came about, I feel blessed that our paths have overlapped.

Mark’s book, Messages from the Afterlife, A Bereaved Father’s Journey In The World of SpiritVisitations, Psychic-Mediums, And Synchronicity, reminded me of the wealth of supernatural encounters I’ve had and how each of these interfaces has fueled my belief in life after death. I have no doubt that we continue in spirit. Life as we know it physically is just a blip on the radar in the big scheme of things, although this blip is quite significant in the sense of our soul work. I have shared in past posts that I, too, have been blessed with a very vivid vision of death, and ever since I do not fear my passage or the death of others whom I love. As a matter of fact, the realm of death continues to be a part of my world as I shed light on the passage of others within my hospice work. Death is a natural progression of life, and once we all realize that it is not the end but a celestial metamorphosis looping us back to where we began, it’s more of a homecoming than a loss. It offers a healing perspective if you are open to accepting it. However, that being said, life is priceless and a miracle that we should hold as precious while existing in the physical.

When Ronnie first came into my life, I worried this big ball of fur would torment my 2 cats but, if anything, my cats tormented him. He was a gentle giant, very tolerant. He was a mutt by label, part Husky and perhaps some German Shepard, but he was so much more to anyone who knew him, thoroughbred in heart.  Although he was large, Ronnie thought he was a lap dog. He had this unique ability to move his eyebrows just like a human enabling him to cast cherished facial expressions; so adorable. He was large and burly but a real scaredy-cat. Ronnie was afraid of the light or beep of a camera so it was difficult to capture his precious moments.

He was a solid support helping his family endure and overcome much hardship! I know he has earned the biggest and meatiest bone available in heaven.

I am confident he is curiously taking in and embracing his new spiritual home where he’ll await loyally for the rest of his family to join him someday!

Mark Ireland’s story is really interesting to me. I am in awe when I read about his father’s work and how Mark is carrying this baton in his own and unique way. It must have been pretty amazing to gain insight from his dad growing up and to continue to learn from these teachings beyond his father’s physical existence.

I appreciate Mark’s perspective about life after death. I too reached beyond the grave seeking answers in the aftermath of my father’s death. Like Mark, I have had paranormal interface and psychic experiences, which have validated my belief.

What I like most about Mark’s book, Soul Shift, Finding Where the Dead Go is the way he established his claim supportive of biblical scripture.

I grew up learning teachings from the church, which chastised psychic work as being of the devil. This never set well with me. I believe anyone who is able to see through the veil, beyond the physical, and use this extraordinary gift to shine light into someone’s darkness is doing work of the Lord.

Mark’s book is well written. It offers much food for thought about life, intuitiveness and life after death.  As I stated in the article, it is truly a worthwhile read.

I’ve had many encounters to validate this but it wasn’t until my cat Scruples passed did I really comprehend the spiritual and physical connection between humans and animals. Yes, I’ve always loved and appreciated my longhaired, orange cat while he was alive. He was much like Garfield, a real character. Someday I will author a children books series to share the adventures, which I was so lucky to partake. As Scruples took his last breath, I had my hand under his head and I was kneeling next to him in my family room. I was alone and it was early. The kids had left for school and my boyfriend had left for work. I was waiting for the vet to open but he was very weak. He had been suffering with colitis for over a year. We’d tried many diets and medicine but in his old age (around twenty) we knew his time was limited. His breathing was really weak. I watched, as my dog, Ronnie, sat at my side. I whispered to Scruples, “It is time to go.” I witnessed a long gasp, his last breath. My heart was breaking and tears were streaming down my face. And, then suddenly, in this moment’s time, a large shadow appeared to my left side, I saw it as it cast against the closet. It was the size of a large person. The same moment it appeared, my dog jumped up and crammed himself between my body and the sofa where my cat had just passed. He could sense this presence. I reassured my cat that it was okay to go. I knew the supernatural being was here to cross Scruples over and grace him as an angel. It was then that I realized that these little fury blessings were celestial and they are bigger than their physical life, just as we are! They continue to amaze me and bless my life.
