God's breath, continued...

I wrote the quote, “God’s breath, a living force within, fuels resilience through soul-work.”  As part of an assignment for my Pathology and Resilience class at school. I do believe we have an imprint of God that is instilled within each of us at the time of conception (our transition from the spiritual to the physical). This breath is the connection between both worlds.

We feel it as the vitality of our being; when we’re in love, when we’re meditating or praying, when we’re creating, it is present and active.

To feel it more as a more heighten experience, all you have to do is embrace your soul-work. This awakens the spirit and enables you to intuitively live aligned to your purpose.

Once you feel this breath and you understand how it flows and where this empowering force comes from, you’re able to tap into this resilience anytime you need a means of recovery.

What are your thoughts? Do you believe in God? Where does your strength come from?

Life altering questions, continued...

1.    Who or what is God? I believe God is the origin and destination; and he the light intertwined and woven within each and every thread of our lives. God is the creator and his creativity lives within each of us. We tap into the God in us through our creativity. Does a higher power impact the direction of your life? Yes, God is the higher power that I embrace to navigate my life.

2.    What is your soul? My soul is the fingerprint of God that lives as his breath, as the life energy within me. Do you believe in an afterlife? Yes, I believe in a never-ending afterlife with God through Jesus Christ my savior. This belief inspires me to change the world for the better.

3.    What is your spirit? The spirit is an extension of the soul but it is different. The spirit is our connection to the physical. It is affected by our free will and it will soar when we are working to benefit goodness or sink when we are making unhealthy choices. This knowing and action reinforces health and gifts inner fulfillment. And, this fulfillment will validate and it can be used as a measurement for living with passion, in the present moment and on a path of purpose!

Please offer your feedback. I’m curious to learn about your beliefs. Whatever they are, they profoundly affect your world and because our world’s overlap, it is important to me.

I love when Oprah offers her forum to a minister in Lifeclass. And, I love the fact that Pastor Rick Warren is preaching about overcoming life circumstances. It seems like life forces a lot of circumstances on us, physically, spiritually and emotionally but we also receive a lot of gifts that offer balance. Our skills and talents might get shadowed by circumstances but with a little support, faith and hard work, perseverance is possible.

I believe this whole-heartily. My life is testimony to this. No, I've not fully arrived but I'm enjoying the ride and my work in process is making me a better person one day at a time. I'm proud of this. I'm proud of my commitment to my health, my family and my soul-work. With baby steps, I'm getting there and these cards that I've been dealt have shaped me into the person I am today.

I've grown and matured significantly over the years, more spiritually as I've embraced my forties.

Do you feel stuck in circumstances? What are they? Are you reaching out for help? Or, perhaps this year you've found momentum. Leave me a note.

Angels here on earth, continued...

In my life I have encountered many angels who have inspired, mentored and blessed me with their guidance. The biggest impact, in a group setting, has been the sincere and giving people at Safehouse Center. As I have communicated before, I haven't met anyone there that hasn't been truly wonderful. I believe, just like in the fellowship of church, groups of like minded genuine souls are so very powerful and inviting. If you are not part of a fellowship community of some sort, it is really worth while to find your way to one!
